I don’t know HTML or web design. Can I use Planexa?

Yes. Planexa uses straight forward, plain language to help you quickly and easily build an
attractive, feature-rich store with no technical or design skills whatsoever.

How customizable are Planexa Web store pages?

All Planexa’s home pages and headers are completely customizable, and you can choose
from 10 templates to create your store design. Planexa is equipped with HTML editor.
Our home page layout manager will allow you to manipulate design in a graphical design
tool inside Planexa.

Other than monthly fee, is there any cost to open and operate an Planexa Web store?

Planexa charges no transaction fee.

Since each package comes with a free domain name, what happens to my personalized domain if I cancel my subscription?

Domain name registration is included for all Planexa packages. Once you sign up, Planexa
will purchase your domain for one year from a third party provider. Please visit our
Domain Terms Policy.
If you ever decide to cancel your subscription, your domain will be transferred
to your direct control at no cost to you. You will have control of your domain name after 60 days, If you wish
to keep your domain name beyond one year, you will be responsible for renewing with the service
provider of your choice.

Is there any cost to integrate with eBay, Froogle or any other site thru Planexa?

Planexa does not charge any insertion fee for posting your products to eBay or Froogle. However,
eBay, Froogle and other sites may impose their own insertion fees or fees for successful
transactions. Each site has its own rules. Please be advised that you will be responsible for
fees associated with posting (if any) or fees successful transactions.

How is Planexa integrated with eBay?

Planexa integrates with the eBay marketplace in ways that allows sellers to:
  1. Copy their eBay listings directly into their Planexa product catalog
  2. List items directly from their Planexa Web store to eBay, and also lets them
    1. Choose their listing format (Buy It Now, Store Inventory Format or Auction), duration,
      product type, and description, and save this for future listings.
    2. Schedule listings to post to eBay at a specific time and date.
    3. View eBay's category structure within their Planexa website.
    4. Manage payment, shipping and inventory for eBay transactions.

Why Froogle is important at Planexa?

Planexa values importance of Froogle. By focusing entirely on product search, Froogle applies the,
power of Google's search technology to a very specific task. Froogle locates stores that sell a product
and points the visitors directly to the place where they can make a purchase.

How many items can I post on my site?

There is no limit on number of pages or number of products that you can post on your site. You will
be billed a small fee for purchase of additional space if is needed.

Which payments can I accept through my Planexa Web store?

If you decide to charge online, you can accept Paypal, Verisign or both as your payment options.
You will be prompted to follow direction on how to set-up your payment options.

How long do I have to commit to my contract?

We do not require long term commitment. You may cancel for any reason, before beginning of a new
month. Once you cancel your subscription, you can request to take control of your domain name for a
small fee. Please be advised that we are unable to issue refunds for the unused portion of your
monthly subscription fee.

How do I import or convert inventory from my current online storefront?

If the inventory content can be exported from your current storefront into an Excel or CSV file,
you can easily import the file into your Planexa Web store. Then you will need to arrange the
data from your current store export into the correct columns for import into your Planexa Web
store.

Can I enter my products in bulk as well as individually?

At Planexa while you can enter products one at a time, all packages can handle transfer of product
information in bulk directly from a database or Excel spreadsheet using the Planexa import feature.
If your software or version of QuickBooks allows for exporting in text or CSV format, you can easily
upload all your product-related information, description, cost, sale price, quantity in stock - into
your online store with just a few mouse clicks.

What is the email storage capacity of the Planexa email boxes?

Disk storage quotas and number of email accounts vary by the package style you will purchase.
  1. Advanced Package:Includes 60GB of storage space and 20 email accounts.
  2. Express package: Includes 20GB of disk space and 10 email accounts.

Does Planexa support Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption?

All Planexa transactions are supported by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption, also known as
secure order protection, secure certificate or digital certificate. SSL is a protocol for securely
encrypting and transmitting electronic information between web servers across the Internet, and is
the most popular method for ensuring the secure transmission of credit card data and consumer
information. Your customers will see a locked security icon on their browser when making payments,
so they will know it is encrypted.

Does Planexa support taxes based on geographical location?

Yes. Planexa allows you to enter tax rate based on the State you are operating. Taxes will be
calculated automatically upon checkout. Please visit the State tax rate at the site setup tab at
your administration home page.

Does Planexa allow for UPS shipping?

Yes. Planexa is integrated with UPS to calculate shipping rate at the checkout page.

Can we designate products for free shipping?

Yes. There are two ways to designate products for free shipping; the first is to offer free
shipping for a particular item. The second is to offer free shipping when a certain dollar
amount is reached. Both options can be configured very easily, just select items for free
shipping and set your free shipping value and save.

How do I monitor and view orders that has been placed in my store?

Planexa is configured to automatically send an email to both you and your customer once an order
has been confirmed. Your administration home page includes a "Quick Stats" screen that is displayed
when you log in. This screen summarizes important business activity that may require your attention,
such as charged orders, pending orders, received emails, Login history and system usage.

I have my own domain name, Can I use it for my new Planexa Web store?

You will have the option to register your own domain name or transfer an existing domain name.

I have my own existing web design; can I use it with Planexa?

Planexa allows you to create completely original content, or choose from our existing design
templates. This will enable you to easily customize the design of your store any way you want.
At this time we do not support transfer of existing design.

Can Planexa help me with marketing ideas?

Planexa has a solid marketing manager with several features and services specifically designed
to drive more customers to your store:
  1. Integrate with eBay and Froogle to post your products your Planexa Web store
  2. Soon you will be able to submit your products to other major shopping engines,
    including, Yahoo, Amazon, Nextag, Shopping, Msn Shopping, Bizrate, Price Grabber,
    AOL in store, My Simon and Overstock.com
  3. Submit your site to major search engines using your Planexa Web store.
  4. Planexa is equipped with its own title and meta tag generator.

How promotions are handled in my store?

All Planexa packages allow you to put individual products on sale. You can set up storewide
sales, quantity discounts, or target specific buyer groups with a variety of promotions.

Can I create individual pricing for each of my customers?

At Planexa you may designate custom pricing schedules to individual customers by account. The
Planexa wholesale package is the premier e-commerce solution for any business that specializes
in the distribution of products to retailers.

Does Planexa support affiliate program?

Retailer and Wholesaler package of Planexa let you easily set up and manage an affiliates program
to drive traffic to your store and help increase sales. Planexa will let you set affiliate commissions,
view payments made to affiliates and edit your own affiliate agreement.

Can Planexa support creation of keywords that can be changed at anytime?

You can create your own keywords, using our built in keyword generator. Get suggestions for more
keyword ideas using our help area.

How does feedback system works at Planexa?

Your customers can send feedbacks to you for suggestions or comments, and feedbacks to the webmaster
to report bugs in the system. You can forward your feedbacks directly to the webmaster. Depending on
the urgency of the feedbacks, We will reply within 24 hours or less.

What is the significant of the features to view tab in Planexa?

Planexa supports modulated software system that can be uploaded to your store front at will. Depending
on your needs you can activate any of the features to create your own unique store front.

Planexa encourages you to only activate the features that most serves your needs.

How does Planexa manages the coupon system?

Activate your coupon feature in the select features to view Create as many as
coupon you wish

Planexa will select a coupon in a random fashion and delivers it to your clients
under the following conditions;

If the customer is charged on line, they will get one coupon with their e-mail receipt
and one coupon with their shipment notification

If the customer is charged off line they will get three coupons.
  1. One with their e-mail receipt
  2. One when they are charged off line
  3. One when the merchandise is shipped
Your customers can redeem their coupons by entering the coupon ID number in the assigned
box located in the shopping cart

Can my customers create gift orders?

Yes. You can create a gift message and prompt your customers to place gift orders. Planexa
will issue a gift certificate redeemable at the shopping cart.

Can Planexa notify me which search engines are referring visitors to my store?

Yes. Planexa has a quick stat page that will list all search engines with the number of times
that they have referred visitors to your store front.

What kind of site statistics does Planexa support?

Planexa will allow you to view your sales statistics for a week, a month or the whole year.
It also lets you know number of hits you have been receiving. With Planexa you find out
which items are the most view items at your store front or which search engines are referring
visitors to your site.

Add inventory, receive inventory report and create inventory alert to warn you if your inventory
is below an acceptable level. Once you run out of a particular item number, Planexa allows you
to mark this item to be hidden in your store front till you decide to make it available again.

What is the importance of having an integrated e-mail system at Planexa?

Planexa uses a sophisticated e-mail system that integrates your communication needs with your
e-commerce requirements. There are several major advantages of having an integrated e-mail system:

I want to create my own Auction site. Can Planexa help me?

Yes. Planexa is equipped with a complete auction manager that will allow you to run your own
auction site using your own products or letting others to post their products on your auction
site. Simply activate the auction manager and decide if you want to manage a private auction or
a public auction, then save your settings.

Can I conduct sales with a specific timing, using Planexa?

Yes. Planexa can support up-to three colored tags of Red, Blue and Green. Each tag could mean
a certain percentage of discount. Planexa allows you to designate time table for your tags and
let you choose which items could be tagged.

Can I let others use my store front with their own name brand, using Planexa?

Yes. Planexa has created a unique resellers manager that lets you make copies of your site and
have them renamed according to your resellers needs. Your clients can use your domain name along
with their own sub domain name or they can apply for their own unique URL. In either case they will
